While there is a leadership component, emphasis is on intensive experience with GEMS units and their connections to standards. GEMS Sites and CentersGEMS has built a substantial base of regional leadership through a national network of GEMS Centers and Network Sites. Sites and Centers are closely affiliated with the LHS GEMS Project, and provide professional development to teachers in their communities. The Greater Cleveland, Ohio GEMS Site Offers a variety of professional development opportunities for teachers of all grade levels in Math and Science. |
