GEMS site vision statement

Our goals are to;

• Provide quality professional development experiences in science and mathematics that model best practices in teaching, learning and leadership;

• Inspire and motivate student learning though teacher development, using supportive GEMS materials and professional development covering a multitude of science standards;

• Build the capacity of educators to support the implementation of GEMS as an exemplar of inquiry-based instructional materials;

• Create and nurture a dynamic community of practice within the GEMS network.

• Provide opportunities for the further expansion of the GEMS associate training.
